All LPPM Platinum and Palladium Good Delivery (GD) refiners will be required to conform to the LPPM Responsible Sourcing Guidance requirements with effect from the 1st of January 2020.
From the 1st of January 2019 we have started an introductory year to allow the programme to be fully understood and implemented by the LPPM GD Refiners
During the last two months we have distributed all the required documents and procedures to all GD refiners.
During January 2019 we also held two conference calls and two webinars for all refiners and approved auditors, these were extensively attended. We intend to hold another two webinars in April to update everyone with progress.
In addition, we have created a new section on our website - www.lppm.com - that describes the processes and holds all the required documentation in downloadable form.
We strongly recommend that all GD refiners contact their preferred auditor and organise their first audit.
Starting January1st 2020, we intend to implement the programme as a formal requirement LPPM Good Delivery accreditation.
The LPPM responsible sourcing will become part of our Proactive Monitoring (PAM) process.
Combating money laundering, terrorist financing and human rights abuses in a wide range of industries globally, is of the highest priority; The PGM refining industry wishes to conform to the highest standards.
